Vietnam Trip August 2025 Montage

I was initially hesitant on going to Vietnam because being with my family on the other side of the world for 5 weeks sounds like my idea of hell. Not that I don’t love my family, but we all tend to get on each other’s nerves very easily.

However, I don’t regret this trip at all. Yes, we had our little fights here and there, but being able to go for the first time—and for my parents, the first time in 20 years—it was an eye-opening experience. Collectively experiencing Vietnam together bought us closer together.

In order to commermorate this month-long trip of a lifetime, I took live photos and videos to capture the small moments that synthesize my overall experience in Vietnam. Rediscovering what our motherland had to offer from the breathtaking landscapes, to the fresh foods and fruits that we can’t find cheaply anywhere nearby, to rekindling with our extended family abroad, this will be a trip to remember forever (and this video serves as a memento of this special trip).
